The big shift...

Well a couple of weeks ago we had a busy few days moving furniture and books into a Portacom - our temporary library space while the remedial work continues in the Admin block.

All the books packed up and ready to go...

The space which would soon be our library.

Ms Ellis and I spent a few hours deciding which furniture and books would be moved into the new space.

We wanted to fit as many books as we could but had to take into account that a classroom of students needed to fit in the same space as well.







The boxes and furniture were shifted by a furniture removal team with help from our Senior Librarians. Then the unpacking began...

and waalah our new library space :)

Once the books were on the shelves the space looked like a library - lovely mini version of our MSS library.
