One of the exciting new things to happen in the library this year was the introduction of an incentive based recreational reading programme called 'Book and Chat' for our senior students.
Each student participating filled in a card and came to the library at lunchtime to talk to myself or Mrs Mackie about a book they had read. Students have to talk about the story, their favourite part, who they would recommend it to and to rate it out of ten. Once they had ten books on their card they then got to chose a brand new book to take home for their very own.
