Lunchtime fun in the library:

Last week I found a sheet of card in my office that had come from the back of a book we have in our library called 'The Little Yellow Digger'.


This card had a push out sections that could be made into a model of the Little Yellow Digger but I didn't have any instructions of how to put it together. So one lunchtime, with the help of some curious and clever students and the book, I set about making the model. 
We had great fun figuring out how to do it and with some taking apart and re-doing, this is what it looks like finished - it even has a movable bucket!:

I have made a display of all the Little Yellow Digger books we have in the library so come in and have a look.
